The age-old saying “A sound mind resides in a sound body” still holds. If you are physically fit, you can live a fulfilling life. Moreover, your work and success depend on your health.
Here’s a prayer for good health and protection to each and everyone for those we have provided wheel chairs that can uplift their spirits and improves their health, whenever they get fresh air.
We have received their pics with blessings from all of them that we had donated on 3rd December 2023 observing ‘World Disability Day’.

INTERNATIONAL WORLD DISABILITY DAY organized by Red Swastik Society Odisha in association with ROTARY CLUB OF BHUBANESWAR EXCELLANCY on 3rd December 2023 at Ekamra Park, Bhubaneswar. Distribution of Wheel Chairs to 15 nos disability , 5nos Cancer Survivors, 30 nos Blankets from different districts of Odisha.

Commit to supporting Persons with Disabilities needy Children with special needs. Many do have the opportunity to voluntarily contribute a day's salary towards disability empowerment. She is an example for all at age of 90s. She use to contribute her pension of two months for them. One we had given to Chinmaya Dash of Puri who is suffering from Cerebral palsy. And the other is Rajani Biswal of Patamundei , Kendrapada suffering from spinocerbrllar ataxia and sensory Neuropathy. She provides Wheel chairs for disable, she is non other than Srimati Rajalaxmi Devi.
16th October
On the eve of Daan Ustav dtd. 16.10.23 , as every year we try to satisfy ourselves to donate those fighter Transgender, who struggle for their existence at every stage. We are blessed to be a part of it by distributing 30 Transgenders with a ration of 20days along with juice and Medicinal KIT for them at Palaspalli.
10th October
Daan Ustav consecutively on 2nd day 10.10.23 for Bikash Maharana a Spinocerbrilar ataxia and Sensory Neuropathy patient of +3 Arts, Cuttack. All of a sudden his brain squeezes from inside and for which he is crawling in floor. We assisted him with a wheelchair. Just a lill support for his moment.

Daan Ustav is on, when others celebrate their puja. We are happy with celebrating this kind. Donated a toilet wheel chair for Neuro problem patient Jeetendra Behera of Similiguda on 09.10.23.
8th October
Daan Ustav started today 08.10.23 with donating wheel chair and sewing machine to a disable at Jatani today. Thank to Srimati Rajalaxmi Devi, mother of Sri. Bikram Routray bhai of 68 batch, DM Alumni for making it a success.

A successful Dental check up Camp at Samantarapur, Bhubaneswar dtd. 30.09.23 , which could be possible due to Biranchi Mohasupakar Litu on his area along with Interns of Institute Of Dental Science. Thanks to all of you and specially to Litu . 230nos can get benefited.

Red Swastik Society Odisha always tries to make the needful people reach the moon through their own Chandrayaan that we provide them free. Today (24.08.23) we can reach a person named Maheswar Rout, aged - 60yrs of Patapur, Gopalpur, Cuttack with a wheelchair which was very much necessity for him.

We say what she says. You are not alone. This is the specialty of Red Swastik Society Odisha. Jyostna Majhi of kandhaMala Dist Odisha contacted for a wheel chair which she was in very much need. And we presented her the same and saw her smiling face with happiness.

Distribution of glucose and biscuits to the children of Nila padia Basti , Damana on 09.08.23. 100 and above children got the benefit of getting away from being dehydrated. Thanks Preetinanda.

A successful Dental camp at ward-6, Nila padia basti, Damana, Bhubaneswar on 09.08.23. More than 85 were checked up out of which 32 are having serious initial stage. Thanks to Corporator Preetinanda for giving us an opportunity.
4th August
Happy to say that the first instalment of Rs 10000 has been paid to the West Hostel authority towards fooding expenses of Sh. Priyabrata Das ( PWDs ). Apart from this, he was having some health issues, which has been taken care of by our Member Dr. Dipak Ranjan Das, Head of Cardiology at SCB Medical College & Hospital. This is taken care by our Ravenshaw Cuttack West Hostel Alumni which has come forward to sponsor it. We , Red Swastik Society Odisha got a letter from Priyabrata for all his text books, illness and Hostel fees and had did the needful. We are extremely thankful to Dr Dipak and Susanta Sarangi.
Pramila Baitha of BHUGUDAKATA, Bhanjapur , Baripada, Mayurbhanj of Aged 68yrs who have lost her son and was living with her daughter-in-law was not well taken care nor the food was given to her , was shifted today to Swapna Mandira ,( Old Age Home ) by Seva hi Seva at Johala , where she will be well taken care with good food and other senior citizens. She stayed there happily with a smile.

Rakesh and Chandrika of Jasipur, Mayurbhanj felt grateful with happiness getting toilet wheelchair. Both are suffering from spinal cord injuries. Thanks my dear friend Siba Choudhury for making it reach to them.

We never disappoint any one who sick our help. Tapan an EV Auto driver from Puri and Patitapavan a nettle shop owner from Talcher who were very need of the prosthetic on 29.05.23. Their smile and their expression says they will help when ever and where ever they find a person in need.

Sagar Das ,15yrs from Khandagiri. By birth disable can’t even walk or talk properly but express his feelings of happiness after getting wheel chair. A proud moment for us to bring smile on his face.

A successful Dental 🦷 camp at ward no. 55, Nageswar tangi Community Hall, Bhubaneswar, today 28.04.23. Total checked 61patients and scaling for 17 patients were done and 3 for extraction.

“I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination”. When everyone else says you can’t, determination says, YES YOU CAN. The world worries about disability more than disabled people do, I am one of them to think for them. Yesterday ( 19.04.23 ) Anirudh Rout came from Keonjhar an amputee asking for a hand that he can work with and luckily we had it with us. We don’t want to disappoint any. We try our best to satisfy them providing their requirements.

We could get an opportunity on the auspicious day of Utkal Divas and 66th Birth Anniversary of Late Shyam Sundar Murmu ( Husband ) at Pahadpur, Badampahad , Mayurbhanj the village of our beloved Honourable 1st lady of our country ( President of India) Smt. Droupadi Murmu for distributing Clothes, Biscuits, Chocolates and tiffin packets to the village people , children and elderly also. They were all happy by getting it. Benefited : 350nos.
25th March
Yet another dental camp for the unaware basti people to take care of their teeth. Another Mega Dental Camp by Red Swastik Society held at Behera Sahi , SHG community hall , ward no 25 today, 25.03.23 in presence of Corporater Manasi Sundaray. It was a successful camp with more than 93 were benefited in the camp. Thanks to Institute Of Dental Science for which it could become a successful one.

Though human being knows everything still they are unaware of taking care of there teeth. We take care of them. A Mega Dental Camp by Red Swastik Society held at VSS Nagar OTM temple ward no 11 today, 21.03.23 in presence of Corporater Pravasini Mohanty. It was a successful camp with above than 100 were benefited in the camp along with scalping, extraction etc were done. So also thanks to Institute Of Dental Science for which it could become a successful one.

It’s not easy for a child to mentally prepare herself that how should she go on without a limb by birth. We tried for it on her ( Divyajyoti Mohapatra ) from Puri. You can see smile on her face after she was provided with our specialised limb. She is a very good dancer. She tried a lot of thing instantly happily after she got that.

Event goes on but the priority people with elite members of Golf club made them able to walk in ramp. Survivors never have felt that they are suffering. Being a good fighter they enjoyed it with the show. We are thankful to those who were with us to support a noble program. It is a start and will continue.

Received Sarthee Award 2022 for outstanding performance in navigating the branch by carrying out several Health Projects and reaching out large number of physically handicapped people of Odisha state.

Way board of Cyber Crime and offence police station installed today by us. Rasmita Jena (IIC ) madam has committed that she will support us in every cyber crime awareness campaign with any help for the society. It’s a matter of pride to us that we can help and serve the people who suffers due to this. A new year initiative.

What more gesture it can be. For remembrance of my Bapa’s birthday today which we missed him for the first time. Thought to serve the attendance of patients at AIIMS , Bhubaneswar. 400 and above were served with Rice, Dalma, Mixed veg and khatta. All were very much satisfied and prayed for the pious soul. Happy New year and Happy Birthday Bapa.
