Ratnakar Sahoo, 79, from Gogua, met with a bus accident. He suffered a brain stroke while undergoing treatment at the hospital, which left him bedridden due to paralysis. When we see patients in situations like this, what can we do except provide a wheelchair for his daily movement? At least it allows him to experience the world outside and brings a change in his thoughts after being confined to a room for a long time.

Tapas Kumar Parida, 46, from Patrapur, suffered a stroke while working and now has paralysis on both sides. People who are self-employed and run their own households are under constant pressure to earn enough for daily meals. This stress contributes to such health conditions. We provide immediate assistance whenever we learn about cases like this.

We met Dhobani Pradhan, 75, from Trilochanpur , Barua . She suffers from paralysis on one side after an accident and a subsequent brain stroke. We noticed she needed a wheelchair and have tried to help her with one. We pray for her quick recovery.

We always keep our eyes and ears open for those who suffer from long, prolonged illness. Bidyut Prava Das, 78, from Badamulabasanta, suffered a brain stroke that left both legs paralyzed. When we learned she had no one in her family to care for her and was living with a distant relative, we provided her with a wheelchair to assist her daily movement.
2nd May
Hemant Sahu, 34, from Puri, suffers from polio and is unable to work. He has been bedridden for a long time and in constant pain. When we heard about his condition, we immediately arranged a wheelchair for him. We are happy to see him finally able to go outside his house. May God bless him always.

Look at the cute smile he gives. This is Pabana Swain from Salepur, Cuttack, age 33. His happiness brings tears to our eyes. He is suffering from a spinal cord injury and, until now, his mother has helped him move around. While his mother will continue to help him, having more mobility will bring him a different kind of happiness. We pray to God that his smile always remains on his face.

Sathi Dei, 56, from Sishu Vihar, Kalarahanga near KIIT, is a left-leg amputee below the knee who was having trouble walking long distances while doing labor work to support her household. When my friend Tanushree asked if we could help, we provided her a wheelchair. She expressed her gratitude after receiving it.
